I have noticed that the video noise level on the AX700 seems to be greater than the AX100. I am currently using Doug Jensen's picture profile (from his video course).
Is it expected that the AX700 would be slightly noisier due to the stacked sensors?
Many thanks

Spent the last few days trying out many combinations of picture profiles and settings based on Paul & Doug's settings as starting points.
Finally settled on the one I like best which is:
ITU709 Gamma & Pro Colour
Current settings:
Black level -6
Gamma ITU709
BLk Gamma High/+7
Knee Auto 100% Middle
Colour Mode Pro
Sat +5
Detail 0
It is close to the no picture profile default.
I found Doug's profile a bit too bright and Paul's too saturated on the green especially in bright sunlight.
I like to use auto exposure and the above profile works well in auto.

Andy, kudos to you for taking the time to experiment with other people's suggestions and then using those as a jumping off point to create what looks best to YOU. More people should do exactly what you have done.

Many thanks Doug, I really liked your course on the Sony cameras, very professional and explained the technical side so it made sense and understandable to the non-professional.
Best wishes, Andy.
