Hi folks. I just got a Hyperdeck Mini Studio (excited) and I plan on using it at a conference on this coming Monday and Tuesday. I have it synced up with my ATEM Television Studio HD. So I am able to record on my Hyperdeck what the ATEM is sending me, but only in a limited sense. It sees Camera 1 properly, and it can record it, however when I switch on my ATEM TV Studio to any other camera, they Hyperdeck doesn't reflect the change. The ATEM does, and goes to black for example (since there's not other stuff hooked up) but the Hyperdeck doesn't follow the ATEM's lead. I'm stuck. What am I missing?

I can also film a short video of it, if that makes things easier. I realize that there are alot of variables and settings that can be tweaked so I'm not trying to be vague. But basically the ATEM Hardware is working fine, and talking to the Hyperdeck, but the Hyperdeck isn't responding to my cuts when I make them.

*There is also the added bizaress that if I use the ATEM Software Control on my Macbook and cut between cameras, or Blk, or whatever the problem is reversed. So if I'm on Cam 1 and I digitially click Cam 2 the Hyperdeck Mini registers the change and cuts cameras, but the ATEM Hardware doesn't! ha ha. I'm so confused.

Egg entirely on face. I had the Switcher on Preview mode and the window on the ATEM was showing me Preview, not program. Disregard. Eesh.

We need a thread for goofy stories like this. Pretty sure we all have a few.
