Hello everyone! We have a new project called "Cinestudy" where we're doing instructional videos on filmmaking and also giving away free 4K raw footage for Edit Challenges, like this mini-Horror Movie.

We'd definitely love to hear your feedback and notes, plus even better we'd love to see your edits of these scenes online.

interesting - I see there are some other projects on the site with footage on vimeo and a lot more stuff under Framelines on youtube
Is this a progression of the original concept? - which is unclear BTW - what are you trying to acheive here?
I'm just going through the Resolve tutorials now so I'll certainly be grabbing some of your footage to work on - thx, I really like the concept

Yes, I am the co-creator of FRAMELINES the PBS series we did on filmmaking, and this is a "spinoff" of that called CINESTUDY, really just a re-branding of the educational and interactive projects.
I guess the point is just to give free footage to people to learn filmmaking and editing through these interactive tutorials.
We're already getting some great corporate sponsorship and these are being used in a some great schools too. FYI, I'm using these to learn the basics of DaVinci Resolve too.
