Something I not only enjoyed shooting, but also edited. A lot of hours spent in the field, but well worth it. Make sure you play it at 1080, full screen and with your speakers turned up. Enjoy.....

How slow is that Don? 30% normal speed? (I could i.d. most of the birds except the peep flocks. Western or Semi-p Sands?)

Hello Ron,
For some reason I didn't get a notification that you had commented on my post, oh well sorry about that. At 180fps it's 33% of normal. The peep flock are mostly all Westerns with a few Dunlin in with them. The dowitchers are all Long-billed. Best shorebird so far this fall was a juv Spotted Redshank. The last record for California was in the fall of 1968. I got drop dead 4K video of it......Don

Don, beautiful video. Great slow motion and excellent tracking. That was one huge flock of birds. Bob

Thanks Bob. Really had fun filming them. Thanks to the Miller Air rig, which made tracking very easy smooth. The Whimbrel flock coming in to their evening roost was the largest single flock of that species I have ever seen at a single location. The flock was actually much larger than than what the camera was able to record.
Again thanks....Don
