I'd like to replace the 1/4" screw on my Manfrotto 501plate with one that has a D-ring so I don't have to hunt for a coin each time I want to remove the plate from the camera. I've compared the dimensions of a few on Amazon but it's hard to tell if they'd work or not.
Does anyone know of a D-ring that for sure fits the 501PL plate?

It's almost always the case that I need a screwdriver for either my gear or someone else's gear. I don't carry coins around, but I always have my keys handy, so a small key-shaped multi-tool is much more handy than replacing a single threaded screw. You won't realize how often it comes in handy. So it's money well spent. Look for ones like this: https://www.amazon.com/keychain-Multi-Tool-Stainless-Universal-Everyday/dp/B07KF9X4F3/din02c-20
