Neat! A few things come to mind:

1. Sony A7 has some competition. Although this is a higher price range that’s not really a surprise, companies rarely want to compete directly against each other with the same product, they’d rather carve out a new untapped niche.

2. You'll need full frame lenses. It will take a while for them to start producing native lenses and they're going to be very expensive. Add the cost of accessories, batteries, cards, lenses, etc... the total cost will be very expensive. A modest kit could easily be 10k.

3. It will be interesting to see if they run into the same issue Sony has with full frame, heat, battery life, image stabilization and processing all that data in such a small form factor...

Still it's very exciting.
