Merry Christmas to you all as we celebrate the birth of a Savior, not only fulfilling many old prophecies (https://www.unitedbiblesocieties.org/10-bible-verses-old-testament-birth-of-jesus/) about his arrival but also a solid indicator that God is firmly on our side and still had an active plan in place to save us from the consequences of the Adam+Eve goof-up and consequential ending up in Hell by default at the end of our lives (having now fallen short of perfection).
It all started with a baby, recorded by scholars and the official historian of the day, and such was the impact of Jesus that until only recently our calendar years had the suffix A.D (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anno_Domini).
Some of the followers can be a bit too excitable at times, but the real historical Jesus is worth your time and consideration. So much of what we take for granted in the West is due to our Christian heritage and Christmas in a sense is merely a realisation of something actually much larger.
