I am making a custom loom as in 1 cat5(for control), 1 coax (for video) and power (this maybe low voltage as in 12 or mains) this is for a video camera that is ptz.

I would like to know what others have used to wrap cables and how did you find rolling it up after an event. Speaking of events this could be crossing a path where people could be waking so it could get stood on as well.

I was looking at spiral wrap and braided sleeving. The spiral wrap is not the cheep stuff that would use behind the tv or pc.

Techflex is my go-to. Adhesive heat shrink at the ends, and make sure to cut the Techflex with a hot-knife.

Hi Edward,

I was thinking braid wrap would be better and when I done a search for Techflex I have found a few people using it for what I was thing of doing. I was going to use heat shrink on the end but did not think of the adhesive heat shrink one. I think it will be the way I will go as in braided wrap. I will try and get Techflex here in Ireland.

I just made camera cables with 3 Cat5 cables for my Vaddio PTZ cameras. Look for the scissor cut TechFlex. Doesn't need a hot knife and wraps very easy.
