I downloaded the Luts from Canon, https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/cameras/cinema-eos/eos-c200?tab=drivers_downloads

These LUTS are in folders and subfolders and I don't see instructions on installing them on Adobe Premiere CC. I can pull them in one at a time by 'browse' in Adobe color correction/ Input LUT. So I'm not sure if I need to pull them out the folder/subfolder or if that's even a smart move to install all of them.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately, Premiere and Media Encoder have their own built-in LUTs. If you add your own, you have to add them to both, otherwise if you use Media Encoder, and it can’t find the LUT in its own internal system, it will pick the first LUT it finds, which is Arri LogC to Rec.709. If you simply browse to the LUT you want to use in the Lumetri panel, Premiere will pass that on to Media Encoder correctly.

Thanks Gary,

The use of Luts is new to me in a way since getting my C200 this year. I'm progressing my way through Premiere, and so far so good. I find it easier than FCPX in some ways. As for Clog/Luts, It might be a while before I shoot a live non-repeated event in Log. Thanks for the response.

I wouldn't feel bad, 99% of what I shoot, I do in WideDR (both on my C300 Mark II and my C200). Unless you're going out to HDR, or really need to future-proof footage, you lose all the extra stops Log gives you in the first place upon final render, and I find with Canon color science, adding 30 points of contrast and 20-30 of saturation in Lumetri gives you a great final image.

I assume but don't know for sure, that Red Giant's freebie Lut Buddy app works with the current Adobe programs, worth a try

I found LUT Buddy to be incompatible with many LUTs, and Lumetri does the same thing as LUT Buddy.
