Just playing more than 2 weeks extensively with this software and I must say it's pretty awesome.
It does everything very well,conversions,DVD burning,YouTube sharing,simple editing,modify metadata.
Support team is also very responsive.
You should give it a try.

I use it all the time. I've used it when my 'out of Vegas video' wouldn't run on one of my Samsung TVs, so I re rendered it to the same file type and for what ever reason, WS fixed it.

Since WS is geared more towards the end product, phone, tvs etc, I imagine most of their R&D is end means geared. In other words, they make sure the video can be played on stuff.
