I've mostly been working with HD footage in CC 2017 just fine with CUDA switched on, but I just had my Mac kernel panic using CUDA when working with 4K 60p XAVC-I footage. Is this common? I haven't been working with XAVC-I at 4K much, but this is legitamitely the first time working with CUDA has caused a kernel panic.
In PC terminology, does 4K XAVC-I cause BSODs in Windows?

BSOD's are usually hardware issues.

They are not strictly hardware, sometimes the driver vendor has to fix instability too. There are multiple instances where new drivers have made CC unstable.

CUDA is problematic on OSX. I would use OpenCL instead.

Okay, just confirmed it might have been system instability. Swapped out RAM and things seem to be better. I'm going to assume this is a uncommon configuration and an uncommon occurrence.
