Does anyone know of a Final Cut Express HD batch capture patch?

I am sick and tired of using the clip by clip capture which is wearing out my heads on my DV camera everytime I upload...

I would just like to set the frames and just upload all at once.

Sure, it's called the "FCP 5 Upgrade." Unfortunately, it costs $700... ;-)

Seriously, Apple has intentionally limited FCE by leaving this and other features out of the program.

But is there a patch I can download somewhere?
