Does anyone know what happened? Earlier today, all forum posts at https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/vegas-pro-forum/ simply disappeared. A short while after that, I found myself logged out. When I tried to log back in, it did not recognize my password.
So I clicked the Forgot password thing, went through the whole process of creating a new password and was told it was a success, but when I tried to log in at the forum, I kept getting an error message, and eventually it stopped recognizing me at all again.
It’s been going on for many hours now. So, something happened. The forum software seems still functioning, but apparently the forum database is gone (hopefully not permanently). As I’m typing this, it is 5:15 am in Germany, so if that is where the server is, nothing will improve for a few more hours.
Of course, once they’ll fix it, I’ll be changing my password and my email address because it looks like they may have been hacked (and even if they deny it eventually, I suggest to everyone to change your passwords and—if you can—your log–in email addresses, but only after everything is up and running again).
At any rate, if anyone knows what is going on, please say so.
