Hi guys. My EA50UH is still using the original firmware.
I was thinking of updating it but was wondering if the only improvments are the addition of DV recording and the two button record feature for FMU/SD card?

Does it add anything else such as distortion correction with newer Sony lenses or performance/reliability improvements?

I am now getting some new lenses and expect to sometimes use them with the EA50

If you use the FMU you should update. I was having record problems with the FMU until I updated

Yes I do use the FMU sometimes. No problems so far but I certainly do not want to have any.. What problems were you having?

about6 times a job I would get a "buffer underrun" error and it would stop recording
