Anyone using the wifi from their camera (gh3) for audio monitoring? I would love to cut the cord. If so, what wifi headsets are working well?

Seems to me you'd have better luck with Bluetooth.
I'm pretty sure this item will plug into the headphone jack, and then broadcast the audio over Bluetooth to your Bluetooth-paired headphones

I got one on eBay ages ago! It's BlueTooth and you simply plug into the headphone jack and it pairs with the supplied headphone set ..cheap as chips and works well too!!

yes, that can work. But I want to keep as much stuff off the camera as I can. Planning on using a 3 axis gimbal and they are weight sensitive. Camera transmits wifi so I'd like to use that.
Thnx

Hi Ed

The transmit units are really tiny for blue tooth ..mine is probably 1" long, 1/2" wide and 1/4" thick so you won't even notice it! It has a built-in L-Ion battery so all you have is the tiny unit with a 2" fly lead with a 3.5mm jack plug on it.

So I'm on my 3rd small bluetooth transmitter. First one was bluetooth vs 3 and had a lot of lag. So I bought their newer vs 4 unit. Brand name is MPOW. Still the same lag. I found a different model, bluetooth v 4.2, that bragged about no latency but it has about the same lag. Brand name is Trond.

The headphones I bought pair with zero lag to my macbook pro. So the headphones are fine.
When I plug the headphones directly into my GH3 headphone jack there is no lag either.
The manufacturer is inferring that live video monitoring is the problem.

What model bluetooth transmitter works without lag.
