Hi all, I ended up making my adapter with a beattie focusing screen as the ground glass and a radioshack project box as housing because of simplicity and price. I used a gl1 lens hood to attach to the project box to make the adapter bayonet mounting, and then the slr lens is attached to the other side via a rear lens cap. Total cost was like $70 since i had the slr lens and the lens hood.

some early stills here, a lot are before I fixed the focal flange though (http://hannahjarvie.com/mini35/)

I'm probably doing something for school tomorrow with it, so I will post stills from that as well.

Looks great. I can see the dust, but that's hard to control. Great price!

Yeah, I couldn't see the dust on the shots through the lcd or viewfinder, but after captured it was obvious. I no longer make those mistakes though, as I make sure to brush the screen or shoot some compressed air in before use.

I like the low shoot of the roller blade. Very rich.

Of course Iam not going to take away from the bears. Great actors aren't they....don't complain and you don't have to feed them.

Yeah, I cc'd the frames a little. It wasn't anything major, though, just some contrast

Hey Dan,

Isn't the Beattie what you used? That is a really good price for one!

Darn, I just made another adapter yesterday for a friend, I should have taken pictures while doing so. It took probably 2 and a half hours max. I'll post up instructions in a bit, I have to finish a paper first.

I would like to see the instructions on how you put it together, especially with the Beattie screen in place.
