I'm shooting video that will be part of a new online course. A lot of the videos will be professors giving ppt presentations to camera. I need them to keep eye contact with the camera, nbut they need to see their presentations to give their lessons. I have a small ipad teleprompter that I can use to make sure this happens. However, so far I have not been able to find a teleprompting app for the ipad that does what I need it to. Are there any apps that will support ppt or even pdf format? Since the mirror of the prompter flips whatever image it shows, if I go straight from something like keynote, the slides are mirrored to the presenter. My current solution is to go through each slide, convert it to pdf, flip it, and put it back into a new ppt presentation. It works but I'd love it if there was an app that would let me import ppt, then just check a box that says 'mirror text' like I can do with text. Does this exist?

You might be going about the problem from the wrong direction. My prompter's monitor has an option to flip images, and you might have better luck finding an app. that will allow you to do the same. Best of luck.
