Well Vishal, beautiful work. Likes Cees would love to see the finished film, maybe you could bring it or a rough cut to Wildscreen for us to watch. My only comment is that at the opening clip of the dwarf kingfisher you have the bird flying in and across the screen exiting to the right as we view it, you then cut to it on a branch with a dragon fly facing left and it facing left. Maybe if you flip that clip so the bird was facing right that would cut better with the previous clip giving a better continuity and the impression you were following the bird with one pan. hope that makes sense. This is really nice, Vishal. My only suggestion is that, for a trailer, it's a bit long. You practically give away the whole story. Your camera work is so good that everyone is going to want to see this, even with a
shorter preview.

Steve Thanks,
You are spot on with the length and that was my concern too when i started making this trailer for my 48 minute doc, first landed with 4 minute trailer and then just left it for a few weeks when i got a better idea to shorten it and landed with 2min 10 sec version and still felt it was long so cut it more by 15 sec and my aim was to have the trailer around the 60-70 second mark to be more appropriate however i wasnt able to do justice to the main story in that so failed in the attempt to cut it more, in the Main Doc there are multiple stories that go around the main story, guess in the learning school i am yet to graduate to a level where the personal bias is to over come the ultimate objective. Will still try to trim it further if i get a better idea of it.

There were some really good wildlife shots.

At 1:23 where “they try again” and the music starts in again was a good touch.

I can see where it would be tough to shorten it.

Congratulations Vishal,
Some stunning shots there. I can't believe the shot where the parent is feeding the newly hatched chick the lizard. Astounding!!
Well done. Can't wait to see the full length version.
