I have been running the same color correction values in my Z150 that I had in my X70, and they seem to work the same. I have not put it on the scope, I will, but everythign looks Kosher so far.

I did notice a few differences worth mentioning. First, the "green" shadows of my X70 are not happening on my Z150. Secondly, the DETAIL adjustments do not seem the same. I run +7 detail manual ON on the X70, and running the exact settings on the Z150 results in highly oversharpened footage.

For CODECS, XDCAM 420 looks like garbage. They must have not put much effort into optimizing it for this camera. The XDCAM 420 in my X180 looked amazing, the Z150, it looks like SD mush.

I am finding that I need to apply a 5 degree positive hue adjustment in FCPX to fix my clips..........this was using my custom REC709 PP with no phase adjustment. This means the PP settings for the Z150 may be different enough to preclude sharing those from an X70. I will put the Z150 on a scope this week and compare it to the X70, and make a new compatible color correction/phase chart ASAP.
Changing hue from 360 degree out of camera, to 355 degrees, makes a VERY noticeable difference, the whole image just "snaps" into a proper look.

I put the Z150 on my vectorscope, and the custom PP color corrections listed for the X70 work just fine in the Z150........my standard REC709 settings put the red right on the line, and bring the green down away from yellow, just as on the X70. It also seems that the white balance off-sets inthe PP menu may not alter the auto white balance when engaged, like on the X70. Still looking into that further, but it appears they are discounted when you switch to AWB instead of a preset or A/B.

Paul, were you able to verify that switching ON AWB does override the white balance settings from the PP settings?
