Been running Media Composer v.7.5 with Canon XF Plugin 64 to ama my C300 Mark I footage with no problem. Getting ready for some Mark II material on its way to me, but I'm hearing I need to upgrade to v.8 because my current plugin link Mark II footage and the new one isn't compatible with 7.5.

As of mid-February, Avid had not updated to accept 50 Mb LongGop footage from the Mark II. I believe Avid will take any other flavor out of the C300 II, so plan accordingly. You can either shoot in higher bitrate or transcode.
