JVC has announced a $1000 instant rebate on their GY-LS300 4K camcorder bringing the price down to $2995. This offer is good from now until March 31st 2016 and does replace the previous $500 instant rebate.

I don't know if this is good news or bad news... Good in that you can pick up a damn good camera with NDs and XLRs that uses every lens known to man for 3k - But bad that it may signal a response to the seeming lack of attention the camera's getting... and it may be the end of another MFT line with pro features.

In Belgium and the Netherlands there have not been any rebates yet and the price differences between stores can be quite big, excl taxes the lowest price I found is 2700 euro and the highest 3500 euro.
Also, one very big video/photostore in Belgium is not even selling the camera, they only have the smaller hm200.
