I'm wondering if anyone has a link or could send me the FS5 Owners Manual PDF. I have just ordered, and like to read up, but can't find this one online...

This is a stupid question. Does the FS5 come with a manual? I swear I looked something up in mine, but can't find it now as I am packing it up to be returned (got a defective one). I look at online retailers and it is not listed in the 'items in the box'. smh... Maybe there was no manual after all? I see it is included on the CD (who uses CDs anymore????)

It is on the CD and can be downloaded from Sony.

These days with so many FW updates it makes sense to have manuals only on line. I have not checked if the whole manual is updated for 1.1 or if it is still only the amendment that is downloadable.

I seem to remember a quick start guide, maybe that was on the CD as well.

Personally I am waiting for Doug's field guide and videos (Vortex Media: VIDEO & PHOTO Tools and Training (http://vortexmedia.com)), they are way better than Sonys manuals.

This is relieving even though I spent nearly 3 hours today tearing apart my studio and house looking for something that never existed.
