It's rare to get an assignment to badly light the talent and make them look cheesy, yet here it was. Sean Callery is the super talented composer of 24, Homeland, Bones and Backstrom, amongst many others and this was his Emmy nomination "about me" film we shot. Great guy, mega talented and pretty funny too. Considering he is a composer and not an actor, I thought he nailed this.

Canon C100 + Atomos Ninja Blade. Nikon 85mm F 1.8 Ais lens, LED panels lighting him, two Kino Flo Divas lighting the green screen. Nice job in post by my client.

LOL. I absolutely love this!!!

The green screen fringe is supposed to be there, right?

Oh, yes, it was purposely degraded. I think they should have taken it further with some 3/4" tape dropouts and rolls and more degradation to the image but I had nothing to do with the post. Fun shoot and project though, thanks for your comment.

Great spot! Very familiar with Callery's work both in 24 and 007: Everything or Nothing for the Playstation 2.

I love when people who have a place in a group or society are willing to be self-deprecating. He is a good sport and obviously has a good sense of humor. Watching him compose scenes for 24, in his studio, at his keyboards, was thrilling because the brilliant musical ideas just flow out of him. He came up with this whole concept too of used car salesman, which I thought was pretty funny.

It's very clever.
