I always film in the XAVCHD 50i 50 Mbps Format.

In the Menu >Display Set there is no "Data Code" available. All other items are available.

I found the reason:

Data Code can only be read if it is assigned to a button.

Furthermore, this option is only available for AVCHD, not for XAVCHD.
