Just ordered a Phantom 3 advanced with the 1080p 60fps version camera
I had a version 1 previously and this v3 seems an improvement

Same Sony sensor on both so is the 4k thing just firmware? (I have an ax100 but usually use the 1080mode)

I have the P3 Advanced. It's great!

I also own a 4k Sony X1000V Action Cam. I'm not certain, but I think the X1000V shares the same sensor with the P3 Pro. I find myself shooting in 1080P 60P on the Sony cam, so I went for the P3A instead of the 4k model. No regrets whatsoever - footage out of the P3A is fantastic.

I had a vision+ but sold it and have ordered a P3P. I like the idea of being able to crop into the scene if necessary. Theres a bit of talk on some of the forums regarding the current firmware, hope it's sorted by the time i get mine.
