Hi
When recording live performances (theatre, concerts) I often use my XA-25 in unattended mode, with a laptop and the WiFi Remote app to control things during recording.
The problem is that, once the recording is started, it is impossible to change settings like iris & gain if the camcorder is in M (manual) shooting mode.
When shooting in the other modes (P, Av, Tv), it is possible to adjust the exposure compensation, but only within a range that is determined by the exposure at the time the recording is started...which can be a problem if e.g. recording is started in the dark just before the curtain opening...
I do have firmware 1.0.4.0, which is the most current one AFAIK.
Any suggestion or workaround ?
