Here's the prototype. It was recently shown in China. Even Jackie Chan showed up at the presentation.
It looks like the rumored Canon 4K with a body similar to a C100. This time the rumors were correct.

So this is a copy of Panasonic FZ1000 and Sony RX100? Looking at the cinema designation, the price should be steep. Also, why not a constant aperture lens that the Sony has?

I am really interested in what Sony will bring with RX100 mk II, since Canon seems to be behind a generation. Also, will Canon shoot 4K without a crop like FZ1000 does?

Looks more like the for form factor of a 5D wih a giant eye piece. Good for them though. As always with Canon, better late than never.

They may or may not show it at NAB (since iot's still in the concept stage)... but I bet it'll be on display in September at the Canon Global Expo in New York.
