View Full Version : YouTube Defaults To 1080p When Music Added To 4K Upload Ronald Jackson March 19th, 2015, 04:13 AM I can upload in 4K to YouTube, not bad if not as good as originals. However if I add background music from the YouTube library the upload defaults to 1080p. Presumably others have experienced this. I wonder if there is a workaround. I know my YouTube playback defaults to 720p as they think that's the speed my broadband provider can reliably provide. I have to manually switch playback quality.
