I edit in Premiere Pro CC, the latest version, using Window 7
I record from one of my cameras onto a Ninja Blade. I can choose whether to record in ProRes or DNxHD.
It's not broadcast work I'm doing: all destined for the web. It's pretty straighforward, few special effects, little resizing and just a moderate grade.
My question is, what are the pros and cons of each of these codecs in Premiere?
Any reason why I should prefer to record and edit in one or the other?
Thanks
Mark
