Any indication on whether it uses the touch screen for the focusing, like the 70D?

It is not a touch screen. However it has Dual-Pixel AF, and when an STM lens is on the camera, it has Face Detect AF.

Not very helpful for weddings. Too many faces in the frame, most of the time.
Thank you for the info!

yep..no touch screen...too bad..The C100 is very sharp and has good ergonomics and XLR inputs! Even without 4K recording is a good investment, but for now I will continue to use my Canon 70D which is very useful with its autofocus..the touch screen is really useful when using the square focus area- just a touch and I can refocus if needed an then disable it with another touch on the screen...easy.
Otherwise with the C100 mii I would have to keep the subject in the middle of the screen...
when it comes to audio I use a Tascam DR-100 Mkii with the line out into the 70D to get dual audio..
still waiting for the right camera for my budget.
I guess the Gh4 is popular for a reason but I have too many Canon lens to switch now.

Its important to know about Canon's 1.9% financing. $158 a month for a C100mkII body, over 36 months. You can fill out the app here Professional Cameras | Portland, OR | Canon Financing (http://provideoandtape.com/canon-finance.php) . Let me know if you have any questions

Don't they have a clause or something in there that voids it out if you travel with it?
