Hi all- first off, my video production expertise so far has been limited to corporate eMercial and internal pieces, and my wedding gigs on the side. One of my coworkers has a relative who is producing a TV show, and I was asked if I wanted to do the post production for it. It would include creating a show opener that would be used to open each episode, as well as all the post production for each. There are slated to be 20 episodes at 28 minutes each, so this could potentially be very good experience (and money) for me.
They did give me a budget for post production, which is worth my time. However, since this would be my first external production gig, I've never had to quote out anything like this before. How do you all go about breaking down your quotes for the client for episodal productions + a single creation of an opener?
Also, does anyone have any good resources for production music and stock footage? I know of some that I use at my 9-5 (where pockets are deep) but nothing that I think will fit well into this budget.
Thanks.
