Some words of wisdom told me that this could have a religious interpretation today, and that was not intended when I came up with the theme.
Please disregard any religious and/or political references this paragraph might have!
"The Elements" can be widely interpreted.
Steve Siegel December 1st, 2014, 06:50 AM What do you mean "Once upon a time"? The world IS made up of those four elements. The hundred plus
rest of them are bogus. Let simplicity rule!
Trond Saetre December 1st, 2014, 06:52 AM :) Simple is often the best.
Mike Sims December 1st, 2014, 10:04 AM Simple, huh? Well, in theory finishing this round should be elementary… Thanks, Trond!
Mick Jenner December 1st, 2014, 10:20 AM I think the element in this round will be "pleasant surprise" when we all sit down in the new year to watch the many interpretations of the theme. I for one have already churned over several ideas and already my mind has wandered off in various directions. Thanks Trond for another great theme
Mick.
Vishal Jadhav December 1st, 2014, 11:51 AM Interesting theme , surely one which may bring about colours from all the parts.
Mick,
As of now I have not been able to think of one idea:)
The thing I liked about the theme is that it leaves so much of room for individual interpretation , making it perspective driven challenge ,so we will get different perspectives from all parts of the world .
All the best to everyone
Best regards
vishal
Mick Jenner December 1st, 2014, 01:52 PM I might have thought of of a lot of ideas, writing a story and filming to fit well !!!! Vishala, few years ago I spent a very magical time in Bandhavgarh, here is a clip from then The Tigers Of Bandhavgarh, India. on Vimeo I'm sure your part of the world will give you plenty of inspiration.
Mick
Bill Thesken December 2nd, 2014, 12:27 AM This theme is open to a wide and varied interpretation.
As in: a key element to a good film is _____________.
Marj Atkins December 5th, 2014, 05:02 AM Hi Trond
Just a quick question: Are you limiting us to those four elements or do other elements, like the elements found in the periodic table, also come ito it?
Marj Atkins December 5th, 2014, 05:25 AM Actually - thinking about it - that was probably a silly question because the elements in the periodic table are found within those four elements. Anyway just checking because one idea I have includes some of those elements.
Trond Saetre December 5th, 2014, 06:52 AM No silly questions! (But answers might be)
The idea was to have at least one of the 4 elements included... in one way or another.
The imagination is the limit.
Marj Atkins December 5th, 2014, 08:46 AM Thanks Trond.
