Hi
Anyone tried this Dedo IR Lamp?
Dedolight DLED4.1-IR860 Infrared LED Light Head DLED4-IR860 B&H

They state it works like Dedos other lamps and you will be able to focus the beam.

Bought one and tested it - works very nice with the zoom function.

Thanks for the report, Bo. I have been wondering about this lamp since you posted earlier. Which power supply are you using? If you post any footage shot using the lamp, please provide a link here. I would be very interested in seeing it.

Hi
Here is a test of the Dedo Ir - deers at 80-100 meters away. Trees 110 meters away. Dedo zoomed in 4 degree on the rigt side of the camera producing shadows. A Iluminar 919-10degree IR light on the left side. Now I only need to find out if the dedo controllers for 4.01 lamps work on 4.1 and 4.2 models. Camera is a modified panasonic GH4. Hi Bo,

Do you know if there is a difference between the 4 and 4.1 lights?

How do you power these lights?

Hi
No I dont know the difference - I have searched... but found no technical specifications. I have ordered a Dedolight DT4-BAT-XLR to test if it will work with Dled 4,1 or 4,2.
I have powered them by 230V from my house or I have a Honda generator that is very silent. I would love to be able to power them from Li-on battery but I think 12v is not enough... I will find out.

Got the DT4-BAT-XLR Power Supply... well it turned out to be a newer version:DT4.1-BAT-XLR so it fit absolutely with the IR lamp. Tested the battery power supply side by side with a 230V power supply and the IR-Lamp had the same intensity with both supplies.
