I have noticed an issue in regards to GoPro handling of color in the GoPro 4 Black.

GoPro Color mode can't seem to properly handle LED lighting.I understand that GoPro color is a bit more saturated but this seems like something else

The picture loses all detail and the color blooms into a blob of
color. This was shot in Protune mode

Here is a folder link to 3 files directly from the camera showing
this possible issue

I found the last video weird because outside there appeared to be blue traces in that fence or trees in the background, was there blue light objects placed outside as well?

no those color blobs on the windows are reflections from the LED's on the tables

Does the LED light look white or is it blue light?
Remember that white light are mixed light of many colours. If you only have one colour the camera will have problems handling if it exceeds its normal intensity - its normal part of the white light you compare with. Dont know if my english is good enough to explain this - sorry if it is'nt.

They had blue LEDs and Purple LEDs -The color balance was correct. The issue seems to be that the camera has a low threshold for dealing with these lights and the color seems to bloom out all the detail of the image or causes hot spots in reflections

GoPros have low tolerance for LOW LIGHT and that doesn't allow correct colour balance selection by the camera. Add light, different story. Lets not forget the GoPro is essentially an outdoor POV action camera even though GoPro would like us to believe otherwise.

Do you have some footage from another camera than a gopro?
