A Go Pro camera mounted on his helmet may be a possible cause of worsening of Michael Schumacher's head injuries.

And GoPro having just gone public and being awash in cash played no part whatsoever in that claim being made...

Hmmm, doesn't make any sense and the claim is, currently, short on details. Exactly how did this GoPro camera cause brain injuries? Did it pierce through the helmet when it struck the rock? I would expect the GoPro to smash and go shooting away from the helmet if it struck something like that.

Exactly how did this GoPro camera cause brain injuries?

GoPro encourages everyone to be a hero, see what happens...it looks like they are trying to find a way to get even more money into Schumachers bankaccount. First of all he was skiing outside a safetyzone and early reports said his helmet saved his life, other reports said critical mistakes where made by the doctors in judging his condition which resulted in too late and wrong treatment and now suddenly it's a gopro thats responsible for it all...

My impression on what I've read is that it could less the camera and more how it was mounted to the helmet. However, there doesn't seem to be much detail around.

Yes the suspicion is the mount or mount fixtures, not the camera.

The GoPro didn't cause his injuries, rather going off piste, traveling at high speed, making an error of judgement including sticking a GoPro on his head, and smashing his head on a rock is what caused the injuries. He took a calculated risk based on his own confidence in his abilities and got it wrong.

Being Michael Schumacher didn't make him superhuman, but it did give him great belief in his own judgement. Unfortunately his fame and superstar status will mean that others will look for some other reason why the injuries occurred rather than accepting that he was fallible just like everyone else. Whether his skis were properly polished, his clothing was too tight, he had indigestion or a GoPro on his head will make no difference to the the fact he made a mistake and changed his life forever.

I've heard that after blaming GoPro, they will next go after the laws of physics, Newton's ghost, and God, for damages.

Win or not win. This will make people more aware where to mount action cameras.
