Panasonic is replacing the HPX600 with the HPX610. I'm not sure what the differences are, but Panny will stop production of the 600 at the end of September.
You can also trade in your 600 for the new PX800, which is a 600 body with three 2/3" CMOS chips and AVC/Ultra.
