The world's most advanced microphone windshield and shockmount system the Cyclone features breakthrough advancements in design and performance. A unique "multi-suspension" design provides complete isolation against all forms of handling noise. Outstanding shock protection is provided by the Rycote patented Lyre Microphone Suspension System, plus the all-new Floating-Basket Suspension with LyreŽ Technology (patent pending) that provides isolation between the basket structure and the microphone suspension.
A two-piece, Z-Locking design magnetically affixes the basket around the microphone for instant and secure attachment to, or detachment from, the suspension. Increased transparency is achieved due to the cone-like shape, that vastly reduces reflective parallel surfaces, and this unique design of the basket gives superior wind-noise protection with our 3D-Tex fabric and without the need for a fur Windjammer.
