If you haven't already requested or received the upload information for Vimeo, hurry up.

I am struggling with my network today, but other players might also forward the info if needed.
Therefore, please post here if you haven't got the info or missing a replay from me.

Already some films uploaded, hopefully many more of you are able to submit an entry.

The fiber optic cables of my Internet company were cut last Thursday so I've been without Internet access except for my cell phone.
I have an alternate location lined up if service isn't back tonight to upload my film.

Still working out what I want to say and have to start editing this afternoon.

What I want to say really doesn't have anything to do with color so I need to figure out how to weave color into the idea to stick with the theme.

You know it's bad when I haven't even picked out any music for the film and that's usually the first thing I do in a challenge.

But I'll upload a film come hell or high water! :)

4 films are uploaded by now.... Tick, tock, tick, tock...
Hope you all do well.

I'm doing the last edits of my own (unofficially) entry. Aaaahh, why so hard to pick a soundtrack?

Just went down to get my final shots and the camera battery was out of juice... Aw, little details...

Trond I had a technical glitch as in I don't know what I'm doing so I have one that failed to upload. I was successful in getting my video uploaded so no problem, but maybe you can delete the one that failed.
Thanks.

Gordon

Had to go over to my ex-wife's house since internet is still down at my place.

Just put something together since I still haven't been able to develop the idea I wanted to do.
So, it's a pretty pathetic effort but I said I'd upload something come hell or high water.

Not going to worry about a feedback thread as this certainly isn't a representation of what I am capable of.

Gordon, I'll have a look at it and remove the corrupt one before I publish the submitted films today.

Kevin, feedback is a great part of the fun. Don't be so critical about your own creativeness. :)
You should make a feedback thread anyway.

I have seen the movies, they are great!
Very good job all.
I have a question ... where should I put my own feedback thread?
Here: DV Info Net > DV Info Net Community Contests > The UWOL Challenge (our newest contest)
Or: DV Info Net > Special Interest Areas > Under Water, Over Land ?

Feedback threads and everything related to the uwol challenge must be in this challenge forum.

Have a look at a couple of the other feedback threads here, and you'll see how it all works.
(And never be afraid to ask if you have any questions.)

Won't have Internet until at least Saturday. Will watch all the films then.

Ok, I lied. I said screw it and am taking longer breaks at work to get though the films. I'm not waiting until Saturday. :)

Mr Railsback, don't be shy. Why don't you go ahead and make your feedback thread, please. :)

I'll pass Trond but thanks. :)

My idea was to do something with the color green. It's a neutral color combining the coolness of blue and the warmth of yellow.
It's also the color of the heart chakra.

Green is often thought of a an almost primary color. I game pieces that are for four players you have Red, Yellow, Blue and Green pieces.

So, I wanted to do something with green but never could get over the hump with the idea.

Got my votes in. Difficult choice to order my first three choices. Will be interesting to see how the vote comes out!
