I have 3 H1 Zooms and I've just noticed that none of them with record a wav formate any more. The WAV file appears as zero KB....The mp3 are perfect no problems there.

I've tried deleting all the files and formating the card and still the same. Very odd....Can anyone throw some light on this for me?

Are all 3 H1s the same age? What brand of card(s)? Are all the cards the same age? Did the problem start with one and then move to the other two? Swapping cards makes no difference. Did you always record in WAV or both WAV and MP3?

I just wanted to come back to this in case anyone else was having the same issue. I had to format the cards from my mac not on the zoom itself once I formatted the problem disappeared. It was an odd one because all three zooms had the same problem.

also experienced odd behavior with zoom .wav files. When I copy the files from the sd card to "some" of my Western Digital hard drives, they play weird when I import into my NLE (Vegas). I never got the bottom of it but resolved by just moving the files to an older drive that seems to work fine.

Confused, my H1 records in either WAV or MP3 but not both simultaneously, or am I missing something.

Obviously checked if the switch is set to wav or mp3 correct?
