9.
Judging – All players who submit a video automatically become judges in that round, with the exception of the DVC/UWOL Charity Challenge, where donors to the charity pool also vote. Videos will be available for viewing and feedback after the deadline. At any time after that, judges may send their votes for the top three videos by email to uwol@dvinfo.net. In your email, include the player’s name and title of video along with the placement (#1 #2 #3). One vote per judge/team, and no voting for your own video. Videos should be judged 50% on best use of theme and 50% on overall production value.

According to the rules, only those who submit a video are judges. With only two entries this round, that gives us an interesting situation with the judging.

Suggestion (for UWOL 30 only):
How about we let anyone who SIGNED UP be a judge this time?
Is there anyone who object to this, please post here asap.

Trond,

Sounds reasonable - otherwise we might have a joint winner!

Wow, this will be tough! We may have few entries but the quality is spectacular. Well done, gentlemen. I really enjoyed the behind-the-scenes parts. I hope we get to do that again sometime. I can’t wait to see what the up-coming not-for-judging entries have to show us.

Mick, great shots, great audio and music. Your voice was well suited to the voiceover. We all hate hearing ourselves on tape but I really liked the way your voice fitted in with everything in the video. Did you write out a script for this? Really well done. I am not voting, but I had to write a comment to let you know that the effort you have put in has been well worth it.

Vegard, a challenging and interesting subject. I liked the interview shots with Trond interspersed with the underwater footage. There is obviously a lot of very interesting wild life to see in those cold waters. You won't catch me in the ocean until it is over 35 Celsius. A really good effort, of which you can be justifiably happy.

Hi Tim, thanks for watching. Although I had a rough daft of a script it was scuppered as the young had fledged before I arrived, so parts of it were written in edit after I viewed what I managed to film.
