I think we've got some pretty unique footage in our reel this year, all from Colorado and some quite challenging conditions. Let me know what you think...right now we're using the DJI S800 with an NEX7 and the Zeiss 24mm prime. We're in the process of building a larger rig to fly the FS700 for those sexy super slomo shots...

That's a very good reel. Good music, nice pacing, short with great shots.

Thanks Chuck, it feels great that you mentioned my exact goals for the reel in your comment, must have worked!

Great looking stuff. Not your "typical" Phantom Footage imho.

Thanks Jeffrey, all of those shots were actually done with the DJI EVO S800, Sony NEX7, and about half with the Zeiss E-mount 24mm lens. Right now we're flying the S1000, looking to upgrade to the GH4 when the gimbal comes out. Appreciate the comment...

Jem,

Great stuff, well done.

Let us know how you go with the GH4, I reckon you'll be able to do some great work using a side slip pass and slomo.

Alan, those are exactly the beauty shots we'll be looking to film, I'll definitely post when it's all been put together and we get to test it out. Thanks for the kind words...Jem

Excellent stuff Jem. love the overhead rowing shots.

Thanks Dave, I love those shots too, and there's really no other way to film those, a helicopter would of course destroy the setting. There's a really long tilt down from the horizon for the last shot of the reel that was too long to include, but it's a great demonstration of the unique perspectives you can get.

Cheers,
Jem
