Hello all fellow Sony FX1 owners. I was wondering if your FX1's paint finish was sort of rough around the cassette area, side of the handle, and the left side of the camera where the manual control buttons are located. I just noticed the finish of the black is different than the rest of the body and was curious if that's the way Sony intended or if i'll have to go back and get a replacement. Thanks!

Having a Z1 mine too has a textured or dimple type finish in that area vrs the smooth look elsewhere - it appears to be by intent - enjoy the camera!

ah ok thanks for letting me know George. I figured it either gave it a tough rugged look or it could be a bad paint job hehe. All in all the camera is great. Thanks again for your feedback.
