Just got my GH4 and would prefer to shoot 4K in the C4K mode to capture the largest picture possible. The manual says that C4K is available in the Motion Picture Menu 1/6, Rec Quality. In this menu only two flavors of 4K are available, 30p or 24p.

What am I missing? How do I select C4K?

You have to go to the Wrench menu,then system frequency and change it to 24.00hz from 59.94hz. At that point you'll get to film in c4k.
