Hi

I got an add for the Vincent LaForet "Directing Motion" workshop. Sounds interesting but I was wondering if anyone here has taken it and if so what you thought of it.

Thanks

I'm planning on going to the session here in New Orleans near the end of June. But that's also nearing the end of June.

Here's a podcast he did talking about the workshop. the podcast pack is back! Vincent Laforet rocks the planet5D podcast | planet5D DSLR video news and more! (http://blog.planet5d.com/2014/05/the-podcast-pack-is-back-vincentlaforet-rocks-the-planet5d-podcast/)

Hope that helps!

I think the group who put this together did the Visual Storytelling Tour last year.

I attended the one in NJ a couple of weeks ago. Definitely worth it. Aside from a good study of camera motion, Vincent talked a lot about the industry in general (mostly from a director standpoint). Lots of cool gear to try out too.

We ran ads for that tour and this one as well, and yes it's the same company putting it on. They do a terrific job every time.
