I shot this on the BMPCC. Still getting used to working with the flat footage off this cam in post so would appreciate any advice/feedback.

Many thanks,
Henry

Hi Henry, good to see that you are out using the "chicken" camera. Have you tried working with Resolve on this footage. I have done a little bit with it on the Canon HF200 footage and found it can really add to the quality of the final image. The Canon is not so flat as the BMPCC, but Resolve really lifts the impact of the footage.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It's much appreciated. Yes, it is the Chicken camera :) I've been grading using Magic Bullet Color Suite 11. Is there anything extra Resolve can offer?

Henry,

The tracker in Davinci is amazing. Also, I find the render speed and realtime grading and masking works better in Davinci than in other grading tools I've tried. However big caveat is whether your system can handle Davinci well or not. At least that's my personal experience. And yes, the Osiris LUTs are an amazing set to use as a starting point for a very filmic look combined with Filmconvert film grain. Looks amazing on Prores BMPCC footage I've tried to grade.
