I have two D2x's and when I upgrade them I won't go past the D3. I don't want video in my stills gear.

One reason it looks interesting because it shoots 1080P at 60 fps.

Pity its so expensive. I dont think they are targetting us video guys with the feature in such an expensive (and brilliant) stills camera.
1080p 60 in the d800 line would be a winner.

Too expensive? Yeah, I guess. As was said in the review, Nikon had a chance (and the chance remains, but is now unlikely) to come out with a DSLR that was more video friendly vs. another still camera with a couple of nice additional video goodies. Had this D4S been a D4K, with the ability to record 4K @ H.265 to internal cards and output 4K RAW or 1080P to something like a Convergent Designs Recorder for $6500, then it might be well worth the $6500 price tag.

I'll never understand why they keep missing opportunites. With no video line to protect they are loosing in every possible way. I left Nikon back after the 5d2 came out with manual controls and honestly want to go back over some day but Canon always seem to have pole position. Very poor vision from Nikon.
