Whether it's daylight or lowlight, the PMW300 is exhibiting a lot of banding issues. It is 8bit we're dealing with but the banding is evident in all picture profiles. In fact i did similar tests with the PMW 200 and it did not exhibit any of the banding issues. What gives?

Looks like normal to me. The different brightness in this picture seems caused by weak light source from the left. Are you sure that the bright and dark areas are moving horizontally? It needs multiple pics to show.
