I thought it would be fun to look back at some our films and actors in them, and see whats happened since.

In my case, many of you know I use family a lot in films. This week my son in law returned from his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. He is with the MedEvac unit at Sacamento's National Guard. He joined because he knew this unit would be called up. The first film below is footage I shot of our return celebration. The second is a film you may remember from our DVInfo competition. The theme then was anticipation. The players are essentially the same as in the real life film. Thought it would be fun for those of you who remember to compare.

Would be fun to hear similar stories from participants in past DV Challenges.

One of the differences I noticed was the move from 4:3 to 16:9 in the interim. How long ago was the first one shot? A really good choice of music in the DVC piece, too.
