can I trigger my ninja2 through the hdmi socket on the sony, don't seen to find any timecode on hdmi in the cameras menu

You can only check if the camera is in the Atomos database

and I do not see the pmw320 there, but similar cameras.

But I think it will not work together - using hdmi that seems to work only if the camera supplier has incorpored the start/stop signal in hdmi, what is true for some Canon products for example.

thanks Wolfgang I have just checked that the atomos database and the 320 is there so I have just got to work out how!
