Hi Frank, We bought ours through James Place Cameras here in Adelaide. I deal through them for all my still camera gear and really like their service. When JVC finally gave us the credit, it was through James Place since we bought our old DVX9 from them.

James Place cameras website is:
http://www.jamesplacecameras.com.au

E-mail Allen:

allen@jamesplacecameras.com.au

The other place to get it from is Diamonds Camera and Video:

http://www.diamondscamera.com.au

Ask to deal with Doug.

The price from both places was AU$3899. If you buy through either of these places, mention my name, as both Allen and Doug know me.

Yours sincerely,
Michael Offe.

Hello, and thanks for the info:
IF I purchase the NTSC versions of MX cameras from these guys, is there a warranty included?

Those dealers are in Australia. Australia is PAL. They do not sell NTSC MX cams. If you buy a PAL MX cam from them, you will get an Australian warranty, however, you live in the USA, so most likely you will want a NTSC version---unless you have a special use for using PAL (where your broadcast system is NTSC).

Attention PAL people!

http://www.cameraaction.com.au

is selling the PAL NV-MX500A for $3495 Australian Dollars. That's roughly 50 Cents on the US Dollar.

This dealer is geared for overseas orders as well.

Tim is also ready to look after all your needs from Japan, including selling you the NTSC version, NV-MX5000.
